Welcome 2017-18 Communications Fellows

Each year, two early career scholars are selected through a competitive process to work with ADHO’s Communications Chair to promote ADHO and its constituents’ outreach mission through the publication of news releases, blog posts, listserv announcements, and social media posts. We are pleased to announce ADHO's 2017-18 Communications Fellows:

Randa El Khatib is pursuing her doctoral degree in the department of English at the University of Victoria. She is the Special Projects Coordinator at the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, where she oversees the Open Knowledge Practicum and other projects. Working on plays and epic poetry of the English Renaissance, Randa’s research focuses on how space is represented in fictional and allegorical settings. She is also the project manager of the TopoText team that develops digital mapping tools for humanities research at the American University of Beirut. You can find her on Twitter @randaelka.

Anna-Maria Sichani is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (DiXiT ITN) at Huygens-KNAW and a PhD Research Fellow at King's Digital Lab. She holds a MA in Digital Humanities (UCL) and she is currently completing a PhD in Modern Greek Philology (University of Ioannina, Greece). Anna-Maria's research interests intersect the changing materialities of literary culture, textual scholarship and scholarly communication with a particular focus on their related practices, politics and economics. She has collaborated with a number of international Digital Humanities projects and networks focusing on digital editions of textual sources, research infrastructures, and digital pedagogy.
